Helen Milton,
92, of DeSoto passed away July 2, 2008 in DeSoto. Mrs. Milton was a cook
for a parochial school. She was a contact person for OATS Transport
Service and a member of St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church in DeSoto. Born
June 14, 1916, in St. Louis, she was the daughter of the late James and Augusta
(Ohlbrecht) Bannon. She was preceded in death by her husband, Peter
Milton. She is survived by one son, Lawrence (Pat) Milton of DeSoto; one
brother, William Bannon of St. Peters; one sister, Marie Leuchtenberger of St.
Peters; a daughter-in-law, Pat Hoffman of Colorado; three grandchildren and six
great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by one son, Michael Milton
and one brother, James Bannon. Funeral services were held July 7, at Mahn
Funeral Home, DeSoto, officiated by Deacon Ed Boyer. Burial was in the
Calvary Cemetery in St. Louis. Memorials may be made to the Adopt an Angel
at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church in DeSoto. Arrangements were under the

Margaret C. Haefner, (nee Graf) age 88, of
Hillsboro Missouri, passed away on July 3, 2008, in Hillsboro Missouri. Margaret
was born September 28, 1919. Margaret was a retired Postmaster for the U. S
Postal Service and a member of Good Shepherd Catholic Church in Hillsboro
Missouri. She is survived by: Son-Michael (Donna) Haefner of Colleyville Texas;
Son-John ( Delena) Haefner of Webster Groves Missouri; Son-Kevin Haefner of
Kansas City Missouri; Also survived by 4 grandchildren and 3 great
grandchildren. Preceded in death by, Husband- Henry Haefner; Daughter-Mary
Elizabeth Haefner; Daughter-Joann Richard; Father-John Graf. Visitation-Monday
July 7, 2008, from 4 to 8PM at the Robert D. Brown Funeral Home, Hillsboro

Hicks, 51, of DeSoto passed away July
5, 2008 in Crystal City. Mrs. Hicks was the director Alpha Omega Child
Care. She was a member of All Gods Children Worship Center. Born
April 16, 1957, in St. Louis; she was the daughter of the late Everett Hassell.
She is survived by her husband, Mark Hicks of DeSoto; two sons: Shawn (Crystal)
Hicks of Pevely and Shane (Angie) Hicks of DeSoto; two brothers: Jerry Hassell
of Farmington and David Hassell of Bismarck; four sisters: Brenda Hassell of St.
James, Judy King of Park Hills, Sandy Wampler of Desloge and Sharon McManaway of
Hawsville, Kentucky; six grandchildren: Taylor, Alyssa, Brittany, Emma, Garrett
and Tyler. She was preceded in death by one brother, Terry Hassell.
Funeral services were held on July 10 at the All Gods Children Camp and Worship
Center, High Ridge, officiated by Mark Hicks. Burial was in the Peaceful
Ridge Cemetery, DeSoto. Memorials may be made to All Gods Children Camp, 5919

49, Hillsboro passed away on July 10, 2008 in St. Louis, Missouri. He did
car detailing. He liked drawing, collecting hats and t-shirts. He
was born, July 8, 1959 in Wichita, Kansas; the son of the late Howard Louis and
Wilma Nadine (Boltz) Bellamy. He is survived by a son, Jaruis Bellamy, of
Chicago, Illinois and a daughter Cassidy Bellamy, Chicago, Illinois; a brother,
Dale Benjamin of Florissant; and 4 sisters: Marsha (John) Dust, Hillsboro,
Cindy Walter, Cedar Hill, Diana Hall, Walker, MO., and Sara Carman, Banning,
California; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by 2
brothers: Howard L. Bellamy, Jr. and John Benjamin. Funeral services are

Holdinghausen, 83, of Crystal City died July
13, 2008, in Crystal City. Mr. Holdinghausen was a mail carrier in crystal
city for 36 years and a Boy Scout leader of Troop 407 from 1979-1983. A
World War II and Korean War veteran of the U.S. Navy, he was a member of
American Legion Post 253, VFW Post 3777 and Elks Lodge 1721. Born March
13, 1925 in Crystal City, he was the son of the late Earnest F. and Dorothy
(Hulsey) Holdinghausen. He was preceded in death by his wife of 58 years,
Dorothy (Stackley) Holdinghausen. He is survived by three sons: David
(Betty) Holdinghausen of Villa Ridge, Terry (Lori) Holdinghausen of Festus and
John (Cindy) Holdinghausen of Herculaneum; one brother, Warren (Dorothy)
Holdinghausen of Herculaneum; two sisters: Norma (Tom) Morrow of Carthage and
Lois (Henry) Eppenstiener of Katy, Texas; 12 grandchildren: Karmen (Jeff)

63, Farmington, formerly of Festus, passed away July 13, 2008 at Des Peres
Hospital in St. Louis County. Mrs. Pennick was a machine operator with
Loose Leaf Metals in St. Louis for 20 years and a member of Calvary Church.
She enjoyed shopping, yard sales, football and Cardinals baseball. Born
September 11, 1944, in St. Louis she was the daughter of the late William and
Marie (Tesreau) McCauley. She is survived by her husband, Harold D. Pennick of
Farmington; a daughter, Donna (Jon) Long of Festus; two sons: Michael
(Susan) Pennick of St. Louis and Harold (Lisa) Pennick of St. Louis; a brother,
Charles McCauley of St. Louis; a sister, Jean (Johnny) Hall of Fredericktown;

She is survived by three children: Larry (Terri) Carter of Kansas City, Diana (Larry) Lawrence of Kettering, Ohio and Pat (Ken) Becker of Hillsboro; and six siblings, Lloyd Bramlett, Donald Bramlett, Joihn Bramlett, Loreda Sheets of Campbell, and Leoda "Faye" Bradley and Leona Drew, both of Stover, six grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchldren. She had worked as a Secretary in the construction industry. Survived by her children, son- John G. (wife-Lisa) Mahoney of Hillsboro Mo, daughter- Carol (husband- Angelo) Zarrelli of Plainview New York, daughter-Joanne (husband-Wayne) Czajkowski of Queens New York. Also survived by 10 grandchildren and 2 grandchildren. Preceded in death by her husband John J. Mahoney as well as her parents Stanley and Julia Walsh (nee-Sotak). Ms. Byington was a homemaker and was an avid gardener and sports enthusiast.

Price) Byington of Camdenton. In addition to her parents, she is survived by two
daughters: Brittany Wallace and Kimberly Wallace both of Camdenton; one

her friend Chris Brooks of Camdenton; and five grandchildren: Ty, Paige, AJ,
Markel and Marrion. She was preceded in death by her grandparents: one
brother, Paul Byington; and one sister, Darlene Byington. Funeral services were
held July 28 at Mahn Funeral Home, DeSoto Chapel, officiated by Deacon Ed Boyer.
Burial was in St. Joseph's Cemetery in Bonne Terre. Memorials can be made
to the family. Arrangements were under the direction of Mahn Funeral Home,
DeSoto.
