Walter was a retired General Motors autoworker. He was also a member of the U.A.W. 

Walter was a US Air Force veteran and served with the 3704th. 

Walter and his wife, Betty, were married July 2, 1952, in Bismark, Missouri. They were married for 51yrs.

Walter is survived by,
