Jenaro Clark Griffin Jr. “Griff” age 74 of House Springs, Missouri.

Passed away in St. Louis, Missouri on Thursday, March 22, 2001.

He was born in Cash Point, Tennessee on October 3, 1926.

He was a retired Local # 396 Ironworker and a Veteran of the U.S. Army, serving as a Paratrooper.

Mr. Griffin is survived by his wife, Patsy A. Griffin (nee Barnett) of House Springs and his children, Janice Aliese Hancock of Hillsboro, Missouri, Denise Adra Hall of Hillsboro, Missouri, Jenaura Gail Preiss of Hillsboro, Missouri, Jenaro Clark Griffin III of Hillsboro, Missouri, Kimberly Shane Guess of House Springs, Missouri, and Jeremy Clark Griffin of House Springs, Missouri. Also surviving are sisters Macie Lee Carlock of Chattanooga, Tenn., Clara Hughes of Fayetteville, Tenn., and Ophelia Denton of Chattanooga, Tenn., Margie Carpenter of Chattanooga, Tenn., Opie Bottoms of Ardmore, Tenn, and a brother, Madden Hoover Griffin of Waverly Hall, Georgia. There are also 7 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Jenaro C. Sr. and Clara Adra Griffin (nee Campbell), and three sisters, Ruth and Ruby Griffin and Annette Kirby.

Visitation Sunday March 25, 2001 at the Robert D. Brown Funeral Home 103 Fourth St. Hillsboro, Missouri from 2 until 8 PM. and Monday March 26 from 10 until 11 AM at the Sandy Baptist Church, Hillsboro.

Interment: Sandy Baptist Cemetery.
