William C. Allen

William C. Allen, age 73, of Festus, Missouri, passed away on July 13, 2000,
at his residence.  William was born in Breckenridge County, Kentucky. Feb, 12 1927.
William and Matilda were married in Boonville, Indiana, on August 12, 1949.
He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Matilda “Tillie” (nee Harris) Allen, of
Festus, Missouri

and Verna Boyer, his mother.  William has 18 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren,
and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.
He was a member of the Joachim Masonic Lodge #164 A.F.&A.M. of Hillsboro and Calvary Baptist Church in DeSoto.
William worked for McDonnell Douglas from 1955 to 1969 and then worked for Evansville Vanderburg Building Authority in Evansville, Indiana,until retiring in 1993.
